shooting ear plugs

A gunshot is one of the loudest, most dangerous noises in the world, so our armed forces and members of shooting clubs are especially at risk of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss. A single gunshot heard by an unprotected ear could lead to permanent hearing loss, often accompanied by tinnitus, hissing or humming in the ears. It’s therefore vitally important that shooters always wear protective earplugs when they’re shooting.

Hearing Healthcare Centre offers a wide variety of earplugs designed for protection against the sudden, loud noise of shooting. You can also select earplugs in bright colours, which makes them easy to find if you drop them in the field.

We also offer custom-made earplugs with electronic modules, such as the CENS ProFlex ear protectors, which fit snugly in your ear and give you, even more protection. The electronic module cuts out sudden, loud noises, whilst allowing for an amplification of higher frequency (speech) noises, thus allowing you to still communicate with your co-shooters, hear the trap, or the rustling of animals in the bushes. If you shoot regularly, it’s an investment well worth making.

What our customers say…

quote-open  I would definitely recommend CENS Ear Protectors to anyone exposed to loud sounds and harmful noises. I use my ear protectors every time I shoot, and find they not only protect my ears from the loud gun shots, but they block out noise from the other contestants as well as spectators, increasing my concentration and improving my performance. They are comfortable, easy to wear and good value for money. I also wear them in my construction job for operating heavy machinery. The team at Hearing Healthcare Centre are excellent and very helpful, and I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone concerned about their hearing.  quote-closed
