Workshops Include;
| A Hearing Loss Simulator Workshop
Understanding hearing loss is more complex than you might imagine. Hearing loss is rarely just the loss of amplification (volume). It more commonly affects intelligibility and clarity. You cannot simply recreate hearing loss by blocking-up your ears. In order to simulate the different levels of hearing loss (mild, moderate, severe, profound), we have a simulator to enable, first hand, what your family/friends might be experiencing. |

| Wax Removal Workshop
A hands-on demonstration of a safe and effective Ear Wax Removal procedure; including irrigation, microsuction and manual wax removal methods. Visitors will get to practice the methods on an acrylic, anatomical model of the human ear and learn about the benefits of safe wax removal, and the dangers of, for example, Hopi candles. |

| Anatomy of the Ear Workshop
A 3D demonstration of the Anatomy of the Ear, with working, functional parts. Attendees can learn about the anatomy of the ear, including the landmarks, the construction and how it all performs to produce audible sounds. |

| Video Otoscopy Workshop
A chance to See Inside Your Own Ear, using a video otoscope and monitor, and learn about the anatomical landmarks and the health of the inner and middle ear. Discover what both a healthy ear drum looks like, as well as some of the irregularities which are common. |
