We are delighted and very proud to announce that Daniel Bainbridge, one of our highly experienced Audiologists at Hearing Healthcare Centre, has been selected as the Official Audiologist for the England Deaf Rugby Union (EDRU).
We are also delighted to announce that we are the official sponsors for England Deaf Rugby players Chris Lovett and Becky Francis.
Hearing Healthcare Centre are also working in partnership with the England Deaf Rugby Union to promote the participation of children with hearing loss in rugby, at all levels, and supporting the EDRU by providing advice to parents regarding safe participation in sport when using implanted hearing aids (such as cochlear implants and bone anchored hearing aids), and by helping to raise awareness in schools across the county.
“We are really looking forward to getting involved with and supporting the England Deaf Rugby Union. This is a fantastic opportunity for us and we hope that our contribution helps to make the sport more accessible and more enjoyable for people with a range of hearing loss.” Andy Coughlan – Director for Hearing Healthcare Centre
We are also really looking forward to supporting the England Deaf Rugby Union in their demonstration match against the British Asian Rugby Association on Sunday 12th July at the Cambridge Mela on Parkers Piece.
EDRU was set up to enable deaf and hard of hearing people to get together and enjoy the sport of rugby and be able to participate in every aspect of rugby union. For more information visit the official England Deaf Rugby Union website – www.englanddeafrugby.com

“I have been incredibly impressed by Hearing Healthcare Centre’s service. The skill and knowledge of the audiologists, the understanding, warmth and positivity with which the entire team welcomed me and made me feel comfortable, allayed my anxieties and helped me adjust to my new hearing aids”. Jenny Langridge.
