As part of our “helping the community” scheme and in order to raise awareness of the importance of regular hearing assessments, we offered a FREE service to ensure professional hearing assessments are made accessible to those unable to reach the “high street”
Local audiologists from Hearing Healthcare Centre visited a local care home (Waterbeach Lodge) on 6th February, in order to raise awareness of the importance of regular hearing assessments. The day included FREE hearing assessments, FREE consultation and advice and FREE thorough check for aural health (wax etc) to all residents.
Charity of the Year, Help for Heroes was the main focus of our fundraising efforts, with suggested minimum donations of £2.
Staff of Hearing Healthcare Centre were on-hand to answer questions, inform staff and residents of good hearing aid maintenance and demonstrate personal amplifiers/portable loop systems.
